Haiku & Chrysanthemum (ACJ 2022)
a month to experience haiku differently
In partnership with Une Tokyoite, we will make you experience haiku, an encounter between Geneva and Matsuyama.
It all started with a common passion for haiku, this short Japanese poem that has seduced the whole world. Then, the desire to unveil a region, a history and invite your intimate poetry to resonate in this experience.

Opening ceremony: The haiku, between Geneva and Matsuyama
Have a coffee/tea/herbal tea and come chat with us! This free meeting will allow us to get to know each other and share with you the genesis of the "Haiku & chrysanthemum" project. We will introduce you to the particularities of the city of Matsuyama when it comes to haiku (haiku mailboxes, paths marked with engraved stones , haiku bar, etc.). This will also be an opportunity to launch the virtual Kukai and resume the essentials of haiku writing. Then we will round up this meeting with a two-voice reading, in French and Japanese.
